Scot spent the majority of a 25-year banking career in international corporate finance with major international financial institutions: Chase Manhattan (now JPMorgan) as a founding member of the Latin American Investment Bank (NY) and as Corporate Finance head for Spain; Citigroup as a regional investment banking head for Latin America and Senior Securities Officer, and ABN AMRO as Corporate Finance executive for the Americas and member of the global corporate finance executive committee.

Mr. Fischer has participated in direct investments and private equity (PE) transactions in Europe, Latin America, and the US while in his investment banking roles as well as a 9 year period as managing partner for Amzak Capital Management, a Florida-based family office active in private equity, real estate, and non-traditional investments.  As such he has served on the boards of various companies in the manufacturing, retailing, education, technical services, insurance, and telecommunications industries.

He currently serves as an independent board member (and Chair of the Finance Committee) of Ilumno – a provider of management and technology-enabled services to 16 universities across Latin America and Advantage Insurance, an international insurance company offering specialized Life and Business insurance products to HNW individuals and business owners.  Mr. Fischer is also an advisory board member to Atlantico Capital, a Miami-based investment banking boutique focused on Latin America.

Mr. Fischer holds a BA in Economics from Bucknell University and resides in Miami, Florida.
