Mr. Leyva, born in Miami and a life-long Miami-Dade resident, is an entrepreneur with more than 25 years’ experience in developing and managing companies that span the globe. He is the principal at Leyva Capital, an investment company with a focus on lower middle market cash-flowing businesses and special situation investments. Over his career, he has held many operating roles within his family diverse investment holdings (domestic and international). Mr. Leyva has developed significant operating experience with family owned businesses in consumer goods distribution and manufacturing, and residential construction. In addition, Mr. Leyva has co- owned and managed a large consumer goods retailer through an expansion and subsequent exit. In Florida, Mr. Leyva has diverse interest holdings ranging from technology investments, restaurants to a marina.

He currently sits on the board of a premier finance company in Peru, a leading payroll and human management company in Miami, and the third largest engineering firm in Florida.

Among Mr. Leyva’s major commercial transactions, the sale of La Curacao, among Peru’s largest home appliance retail chains, was named “Deal of the Year 2012” in the private equity category by Latin Lawyer Magazine, the definitive publication for business law throughout Latin America. He previously served as a member of the board of directors of His House Children’s Home, a local not-for-profit that provides residential care for abused, neglected and drug-exposed children in a home-like setting, and is a board member of Big Brother Big Sisters of Miami.

As President and Principal/Co-Owner of the third largest Engineering firm in Florida with more than $35 million in revenue, Jose Muñoz understands the foundations of a solid organization. His signature style is the rare combination of innovative engineering and calm forward looking leadership that has enabled BCC to grow from a 5 employee organization to one with over 100 engineers and 5 offices in Florida.  Mr. Munoz is a member of the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers and is graduate of FIU.



Scot spent the majority of a 25 year banking career in international corporate finance with major international financial institutions: Chase Manhattan (now JPMorgan) as a founding member of the Latin American Investment Bank (NY) and as Corporate Finance head for Spain; Citigroup as a regional investment banking head for Latin America and Senior Securities Officer, and ABN AMRO as Corporate Finance executive for the Americas and member of the global corporate finance executive committee. Mr. Fischer has participated in direct investments and private equity (PE) transactions in Europe, Latin America and the US while in his investment banking roles as well as a 9 year period as managing partner for Amzak Capital Management, a Florida-based family office active in private equity, real estate and non-traditional investments.  As such he has served on the boards of various companies in the manufacturing, retailing, education, technical services, insurance and telecommunications industries.He currently serves as independent board member (and Chair of the Finance Committee) of Ilumno – a provider of management and technology enabled services to 16 universities across Latin America and Advantage Insurance, an international insurance company offering specialized Life and Business insurance products to HNW individuals and business owners.  Mr. Fischer is also an advisory board member to Atlantico Capital, a Miami based investment banking boutique focused on Latin America.Mr. Fischer holds a BA in Economics from Bucknell University and resides in Miami, Florida.
